Call me Joy. Some years ago -- actually since pretty much the beginning -- I took interest in coming up with stories. I have hundreds of stories in my head that I hope to one day put to paper, along with hundreds of character ideas. My hope is to one day become a published author. In the meantime, one way I express these ideas is through my character drawings, which I have gladly shared with you on here. It is one thing to have the image of your character in your mind and another to put them on paper, being able to look at them and encounter them in a new way. I may not be the greatest drawer in town, but it all is a work in progress, just like any good artist. And I hope that your curiosity is peaked by these mysterious characters I have introduced to you.
I also have taken an interest in photography recently, especially while I have been studying abroad this semester, finding joy in capturing the naturally painted canvas. Because of this desire for natural beauty, I use no filters on my photos, posting them just the way I took them and saw them. I hope that my pictures may leave you in awe of the beauty of the world that surrounds us. From the smallest rose to the largest mountains, may your breath be taken away by these pictures, just like mine was when I beheld such beauty.
